WWEThis Saturday, August 31st, 2024, WWE will present the first ever edition of WWE Bash In Berlin that will air live from the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany. It will be the third Premium Live Event held in Europe in 2024 after Backlash France and Clash at the Castle. Five matches including three championship bouts are scheduled for the event, as Cody Rhodes, Gunther and Unholy Union will all defend their titles, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will clash in a Strap match and The Terror Twins will take on The New Judgment Day in a Mixed Tag Team match.
Randy Orton looks for a fifteenth World title
The “Ring General” Gunther has become the World Heavyweight champion by defeating Damian Priest at SummerSlam thanks to Finn Bálor’s betrayal. Four weeks later, he will make his way to his home soil of Europe to put his championship on the line for the first time, as “The Viper” Randy Orton will challenge him for the World title. Randy Orton will try to win his fifteenth World championship at Bash In Berlin, as only Ric Flair and John Cena have won more in their respective career with sixteen each.
Gunther and Randy Orton have already battled against each other this year, as they clashed at WWE King & Queen of the Ring back in May in Saudi Arabia. The “Ring General” had taken a controversial win after Randy Orton’s shoulders were not completely down on the mat during the referee’s count of three. So, will “The Apex Predator” take his revenge this Saturday in Berlin?
Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens: enemies for one night
The Undisputed WWE championship will also be on the line at Bash In Berlin, as Cody Rhodes will defend it against his old friend in Kevin Owens. “The American Nightmare” asked to defend the belt against “The Prize Fighter” himself. As Kevin Owens wanted to refuse the offer at first, the match has been made official anyway. So, KO will have the opportunity to win his first singles title in WWE since 2017 when he had been Universal and United States champion.
CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre: chapter 2
Drew McIntyre defeated CM Punk at SummerSlam in a match where Seth Rollins was the special guest referee. But “The Scottish Psychopath” seems to remain obsessed with “The Best In The World” as he kept his bracelet with the names of CM Punk’s wife and dog around his wrist. So, CM Punk challenged Drew McIntyre to a Strap match at Bash In Berlin, where there can be no escape. In order to win the match, the competitors will have to touch all four corners of the ring successively. So, who will get his hand raised in victory at the end of the second chapter in this intense rivalry?

Plus, Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn of The Unholy Union will put the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles on the line against the former champions in Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill.
And, Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley who are now known as The Terror Twins will get a chance to get their hands on Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan of The New Judgment Day as the two teams will clash in a Mixed Tag Team match.
The show will start on Saturday, August 31st, 2024 at 1:00 pm (E.T.) and will be broadcast exclusively on the WWE Network.
