Roman Reigns has made his return last night at WWE SummerSlam 2024.
Roman Reigns has made his return last night at WWE SummerSlam, helping Cody Rhodes retain the Undisputed WWE championship.
Cody Rhodes had to defend his title indeed against Solo Sikoa in a Bloodline Rules match in the main event of the last WWE Premium Live Event. As the members of The Bloodline but also Kevin Owens and Randy Orton interfered during the contest, the real Tribal Chief made his first appearance on TV since his loss at WrestleMania XL. He came to the ring to hit Solo Sikoa with a Superman Punch and a Spear, sending him the message that he is still the real Head of the Table. Thanks to what Roman Reigns did, Cody Rhodes had the possibility to finish the job by hitting Solo Sikoa with the CrossRhodes to win the match via pinfall and retain his championship.

How ironic and poetic it is to see Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes have a common enemy, that being Solo Sikoa and the entire new Bloodline. As Roman Reigns created The Bloodline a few years ago, it seems that he has now become the n°1 rival of the new version of the faction.
So, now that he is back, one question remains: will he ask Cody Rhodes for a championship rematch or will he go after Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline to handle some family business? Only the future will tell.
