Two new matches have been officially set for AEW Double Or Nothing 2024.
Moxley vs. Takeshita
First, the IWGP World Heavyweight champion Jon Moxley will face Konosuke Takeshita in an IWGP World Heavyweight championship Eliminator match. Five years after making his AEW debut, Jon Moxley is still one of the main figures of Tony Khan’s promotion. As he has won the IWGP World Heavyweight championship for the first time in his career on April 12th at NJPW Windy City Riot by defeating Tetsuya Naito in the city of Chicago, will he be able to keep Konosuke Takeshita out of the title picture by defeating him in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 26th?
TNT championship Barbed Wire Steel Cage match
Plus, the TNT champion Adam Copeland will have to defend his title against House Of Black’s Malakai Black in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match. The “Rated-R-Superstar” is no stranger to extreme matches when it comes to that TNT championship, as he has won the belt by defeating Christian Cage in an I Quit match on the March 20th episode of AEW Dynamite. But can Malakai Black take the better out the champion and win his first single championship in AEW?
