Main Card

  • Match #1: Bryan Danielson (c) defeated Nigel McGuinness via submission with the Lebell Lock to retain the AEW World championship.
  • Match #2: HOOK (c) defeated Roderick Strong via submission with the Redrum to retain the FTW championship – No DQ match.
    After the match, HOOK retired the FTW title and gave it back to his father, the first wrestler to hold the championship back in 1998, Taz.
  • Match #3: The Young Bucks (c) defeated Kyle Fletcher & Will Ospreay via pinfall from Nicholas Jackson on Kyle Fletcher with the BTE Trigger.
    Don Callis tried to interfere to help Fletcher & Ospreay during the match but failed to do so, as Will Ospreay didn’t want to be helped.

MVP wants to talk “business” with Swerve Strickland

Prince Nana announces that Swerve Strickland is ready mentally, but not yet physically to be back in action. MVP interrupts him and makes his first ever AEW appearance to claim that Prince Nana is not a good manager for Swerve Strickland. He has a message for “The Realest”: when he wants to be taken seriously and be back on the top of the mountain, he will only have to call him. Because MVP is ready to talk “business” with Swerve.

  • Match #4: Mariah May (c) defeated Yuka Sakazaki via pinfall with the Storm Zero to retain the AEW Women’s World championship.
    After the match, Mina Shirakawa came to the ramp and Mariah May gave her a big hug. Mina looked confused, as she keeps claiming that she doesn’t know who Mariah May has become since she betrayed Toni Storm on July 10th.
  • Match #5: Jon Moxley defeated Darby Allin via pinfall with an Avalanche Death Rider.
    Bryan Danielson attacked Jon Moxley after the match and declared war to his former friend and former partner in the Blackpool Combat Club. Danielson and Moxley will battle one-on-one for the AEW World championship at AEW WrestleDream 2024 on Saturday, October 12th in Tacoma, Washington.
