First ever 2-night edition for SummerSlam
WWE has indeed just announced that the 2025 edition of SummerSlam will take place on Saturday, August 2nd and Sunday, August 3rd next year at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. It will be the first ever 2-night edition of the famous WWE Premium Live Event, and we already know that the 2026 edition of the show will also be a 2-night event.

The MetLife Stadium knows how to deal with big wrestling events, as WrestleMania XXIX in 2013 and WrestleMania 35 in 2019 took place there. So, WWE won’t have to worry too much about the organization of the 38th annual edition of SummerSlam, a historic pay-per-view that was born in 1988.
