MJF. As he made his return at Double Or Nothing, MJF seems to re-establish himself as the main figure in AEW in the last few weeks. He became the International champion on July 17th by defeating Will Ospreay, and he presented a new title, the American championship, on Dynamite one week later. As he also promised to defend his championship all around the world, the former AEW World champion appears like one of the main attractions in Tony Khan’s company, even if he didn’t have more than three matches since his return. It just seems like MJF doesn’t need more than that to be in the center of attention in the wrestling world.

Match of the month
Will Ospreay (c) vs. MJF – AEW International championship, AEW Dynamite 250 (July 17)
What a Classic. 59 minutes and 57 seconds of beautiful in-ring performance by both wrestlers, as they managed to remain entertaining during the entire contest. Various moves, great spots and a timing perfectly controlled by MJF and Will Ospreay. Add a little drama at the end, and you’ll be close to the perfect wrestling match. “The Devil” defeated “The Aerial Assassin” three seconds before the time limit with the help of his Dynamite diamond ring that he used to hit his opponent. With this victory, he wins the AEW International championship for the first time in his career.
