Full match card of WWE SummerSlam 2024.

WWE

The 37th annual edition of WWE SummerSlam is coming this Saturday, August 3rd and will air live from the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio. Six championship matches are scheduled, as Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan, Bayley, Damian Priest, Logan Paul and Sami Zayn will all put their title on the line. Plus, we will witness the match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre with Seth Rollins as special guest referee.

Is Solo Sikoa truly Roman Reigns’ heir?

Cody Rhodes is the Undisputed WWE champion since his victory over Roman Reigns on the second night of WrestleMania XL, and he will defend his championship against Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam this Saturday. The leader of the new Bloodline wants to establish himself as the real Tribal Chief since Roman Reigns is no longer champion and no longer around. Winning the Undisputed WWE championship from “The American Nightmare” seems to be the last step for Solo Sikoa to really become Roman Reigns’ heir. So, will he conquer Cody Rhodes and the entire WWE with it at SummerSlam?

Rhea Ripley’s Revenge Tour

Rhea Ripley had to vacate the WWE Women’s World championship back in April because of an injury that sustained after a backstage brawl with Liv Morgan on Monday Night Raw. As Becky Lynch won the title a few days later, Liv Morgan took it from “The Man” at WWE King & Queen of the Ring. Since then, Liv Morgan has only had one name in her mind: Rhea Ripley. As “The Eradicator” made her return on Raw a few weeks ago, she is now ready to launch her own Revenge Tour and take back the title that she never lost in the first place.

The King and Queen soon to be champions?

On Saturday, May 25th in Saudi Arabia, Nia Jax and Gunther respectively became Queen and King of the Ring, and they booked their spot for a World championship opportunity at SummerSlam. Nia Jax will face Bayley for the WWE Women’s championship, and Gunther will battle Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight title. Can “The Annihilator” or “The Ring General” become champion on the biggest event of the summer?

CM Punk’s return to action

CM Punk suffered an injury during the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match back in January, but he has made his presence felt since then, ruining Drew McIntyre’s chances to be called the World Heavyweight champion. Now that “The Best In The World” has been medically cleared to compete and that “The Scotthish Psychopath” is no longer suspended, they can have their one-on-one battle that we all are waiting for. Seth Rollins will be the special guest referee of the match, and we can predict he is not going to do any favor to either CM Punk or Drew McIntyre. So, who will get his arm raised in victory by “The Visionary” this Saturday at SummerSlam?

Plus, the United States and the Intercontinental championships will be on the line next Saturday in Cleveland, as “The Maverick” Logan Paul will defend his title on home soil against LA Knight, and Sami Zayn will battle Bron Breakker in a Money In The Bank rematch.

The show will start at 7:00 pm (E.T.) and will be broadcast on the WWE Network.
