Two huge matches have been announced for next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
AEWLast night on Dynamite, Bryan Danielson and Mariah May won the Men’s and Women’s 2024 Owen Hart Cups to secure their spot for a World championship match at AEW All In 2024 on Sunday, August 25th at Wembley Stadium in London, England. But the show was also marked by the annoucement of two huge matches that will take place on the July 17th episode of AEW Dynamite.
MJF challenges Will Ospreay
First, the former AEW World champion MJF will challenge Will Ospreay in a match for the International championship. Will Ospreay has become champion by defeating Roderick Strong at Double Or Nothing, and he has already successfully defended his title on four occasions. Next Wednesday, he will have to put it on the line against a former World champion for the first time since the beginning of his reign.
Champion vs. Champion
Plus, there will be a Champion vs. Champion match between the AEW World champion Swerve Strickland and the AEW Continental champion Kazuchika Okada, as the two wrestlers will battle for the first time ever in their respective career. For many fans, this one is considered as a Dream match, and we can easily understand why.

The next episode of AEW Dynamite will be the 250th episode in the history of the company, and it will air live from the Simmons Bank Arena in Little Rock, Arkansas.
