This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite takes place at the Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett, Washington. A huge program is schedulded, with five matches and four other segments announced.
Kazuchika Okada defends the Continental title
Kazuchika Okada has become AEW Continental champion by defeating Eddie Kingston on the March 20th episode of Dynamite. As he has successfully defended his title against PAC one month later at AEW Dynasty, he will have to put the belt on the line this Wednesday on Dynamite against FTR’s Dax Harwood.
Swerve, Mox, Young Bucks & more in action
Four other matches have been announced for the next episode of AEW Dynamite.
First, the AEW World champion Swerve Strickland will go one-on-one against Brian Cage in an AEW World championship Eliminator match.
Then, we’ll see two Tag Team matches: Bryan Danielson & the IWGP World Heavyweight champion Jon Moxley will face the team of the ROH World TV champion Kyle Fletcher & the NJPW World TV champion Jeff Cobb, and The Young Bucks will battle the team of Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal in an AEW World Tag Team championship Eliminator match.
Plus, the AEW Women’s World champion “Timeless” Toni Storm will battle Harley Cameron in a non-title Grudge match.
We also know that the former FTW champion HOOK will make his return on AEW Dynamite.

Focus on Double Or Nothing
AEW Double Or Nothing 2024 will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday, May 26th. Five matches have already been announced for the show, including four championship bouts. This Wednesday on Dynamite, several segments will prepare for the pay-per-view. First, the TBS champion Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Moné will sign the contract for their title match; then, the AEW International champion Roderick Strong will go face-to-face with the man who will challenge him at Double Or Nothing, Will Ospreay; and, the TNT champion Adam Copeland will call out Malakai Black and will try to get a match against him on May 26th.
