Kazuchika Okada has won the AEW Continental championship last night on AEW Dynamite.
Last night on AEW Dynamite in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Eddie Kingston defended the AEW Continental championship in the opening contest of the show against Kazuchika Okada. The Rainmaker only needed ten minutes to defeat his opponent and win the AEW Continental title only two weeks after becoming All Elite.
Indeed, Kazuchika Okada came to the ring without his partners from The Elite, The Young Bucks, and used the Rainmaker to win the title bout via pinfall. The former IWGP World Heavyweight champion has won his first championship outside of NJPW in his career and has ended a reign of 81 days as Eddie Kingston had won the Continental championship on December 30 at AEW Worlds End.

Kazuchika Okada is not the only wrestler who has become champion on Dynamite last night, as Adam Copeland defeated Christian Cage in an I Quit main event to win the AEW TNT championship for the second time in his career.
