Adam Copeland wins I Quit match to become TNT champion on AEW Dynamite

We have a new AEW TNT champion in the Rated-R-Superstar Adam Copeland. The former WWE Superstar has defeated his former best friend in Christian Cage in a brutal I Quit match last night on Dynamite in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Shayna & Nick Wayne, Killswitch but also Daniel Garcia & Daddy Magic interfered during the championship bout. At the end of the match, Adam Copeland used his friend “Spike” to hit the leader of The Patriarchy in the nuts; as he was about to hit him again in the face this time, Christian Cage said the words “I Quit”. Just like that, Adam Copeland became TNT champion and ended the second reign of Christian Cage.

The Rated-R-Superstar has won the TNT championship for the second time in his career, as he had held the title for a few minutes on December 30 at AEW Worlds End.

He is not the only wrestler who has become champion last night on Dynamite, as Kazuchika Okada has won the AEW Continental championship by defeating Eddie Kingston in the opener.
