Shawn Spears is back in WWE
Shawn Spears has made his return to WWE last night on NXT, as he attacked Ridge Holland from behind with a steel chair. Indeed, as Ridge Holland was about to speak about his actions on Gallus these last weeks, the lights went out and the following message appeared on the screen: “Truth will ultimately prevail, but there is pain bringing it to light”. A man appeared in the ring to hit Holland in the back and revealed his face, letting everyone see Shawn Spears in the center of the squarred circle.
The last WWE match of Shawn Spears was back in February 2019, before he signed to AEW where he performed between May 2019 and September 2023. Last night, he returned to the place where he was called Tye Dillinger before, and said he was going to be at NXT Roadblock next Tuesday.
Four matches announced for NXT Roadblock 2024
WWE will present a special edition of NXT next week on March 5, with NXT Roadblock. Four matches including two championsip bouts have been made official for the show. Indeed, the team of the NXT Women’s champion Lyra Valkyria & Tatum Paxley will challenge The Kabuki Warriors for the WWE Women’s Tag Team championships, and Baron Corbin & Bron Breakker will have to defend the NXT Tag Team titles against Chase U’s Andre Chase & Duke Hudson.
Plus, Carmelo Hayes and Tony D’Angelo will battle for the n°1 contender status for the NXT championship, the winner going on to face Ilja Dragunov for the title at NXT Stand & Deliver 2024. Dijak and Joe Gacy will also be in action, in an Asylum match that Ava made official last night on NXT.

Charlie Dempsey wins the NXT Heritage Cup
Charlie Dempsey defeated Noam Dar for the NXT Heritage Cup, winning the championship for the first time in his career. He won the match via 2 points to 1, scoring the final point via pinfall with a Dragon Suplex into a bridge pin. The third reign of Noam Dar as NXT Heritage Cup champion has ended.
Booker T is back on NXT commentary
The WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T was back on commentary on NXT last night. He had to take some time off due to medical procedure and had missed NXT Vengeance Day on February 4. He had already announced he would be back for last night’s show, on February 27.
