Here is the preview and full match card of AEW Revolution 2024.

Information

Date: Sunday, March 3, 2024

Location: Greensboro Coliseum, Greensboro, North Carolina, US

Next Sunday, AEW will present Revolution 2024, airing from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Icon Sting will have the last match of his prestigious career as he will defend the AEW World Tag Team championships alongside Darby Allin against The Young Bucks. In total, six championship matches are schedulded on the card, with Samoa Joe defending the AEW World championship in a 3-way contest against Swerve Strickland and “Hangman” Adam Page and Toni Storm putting her title on the line against Deonna Purrazzo.

Could Samoa Joe be in danger?

Since Samoa Joe took the AEW World championship from MJF at AEW Worlds End, the Samoan Submission Machine seems determined to embody the image of a fearless and merciless champion. As he only defended his title once, against HOOK on Dynamite last January 17, he will have to go through a harder mission at Revolution, when he will have to battle not one but two opponents at the same time. Indeed, he will put his championship on the line against Swerve Strickland and “Hangman” Adam Page, as neither of them was able to defeat the other before the 30-minute time limit on AEW Dynamite three weeks ago. That means Samoa Joe does not have to be pinned or submitted to lose the championship. Could that turn in the favor of one of the challengers on Sunday, March 3 in Greensboro?

Sting’s last match

AEW Revolution will mark the last match in the decorated career of Sting. The multiple time WCW World champion will defend the AEW World Tag Team titles with Darby Allin in a Tornado Tag Team match against the EVP’s, The Young Bucks. Sting & Darby Allin defeated Ricky Starks & Big Bill on Dynamite on February 7 to become champions, the question now being: will Sting leave the wrestling world as champion? The Hall Of Famer said he will put everything on the line on his final match; but will “everything” be enough to defeat the Bucks?

Numerous champions will have to defend their titles during the show, as “Timeless” Toni Storm faces her former friend in Deonna Purrazzo, Eddie Kingston defends the Continental Crown against Bryan Danielson, Christian Cage puts the TNT title on the line against Daniel Garcia, and Orange Cassidy faces Undisputed Kingdom’s Roderick Strong for the AEW International championship.

Plus, Will Ospreay will face Konosuke Takeshita one-on-one, FTR will battle Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli of the Blackpool Combat Club in a Tag Team bout, and eight competitors will collide in an 8-man Scramble match to get a shot at the AEW World championship.
