New information about the allegations of sexual abuse against Vince McMahon with a WWE Superstar potentially being involved, WWE Network to be shut down outside of US from January 2025, Kevin Patrick officially released by WWE.
Could Brock Lesnar be the WWE Superstar involved in the accusations of sex trafficking against Vince McMahon?
Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, accused Vince McMahon of sexual assault and sex trafficking, mentioning the name of other WWE staff members who have been involved in it according to her testimony, including John Laurinaitis. She also said a WWE Superstar and “former UFC fighter” who was getting his WWE contract renewed around 2021 was involved too. Speculations started to point at Brock Lesnar, and we learned that, according to Fightful Select, these sex trafficking allegations could lead to change of plans concerning Brock’s potential return at the Royal Rumble this week-end and his road to WrestleMania 40.

WWE Network to be shut down outside of US at the end of 2024
We learned yesterday, on January 25, that the WWE Network would be shut down from January 2025 outside of US. The main contents, such as weekly shows and previous pay-per-views among others, will be moved to Netflix for other countries. The Network will stay the official broadcasting platform of WWE in the US until at least 2026 and the end of the current deal with Peacock.
The announcement follows the formalization of the new deal between WWE and Netflix for the broadcasting of Monday Night Raw in the US, Canada, Latin America and UK, starting in January 2025.

WWE SmackDown’s commentator, Kevin Patrick, has been released by the company on Thursday, January 25, 2024. He worked for WWE since 2022. Michael Cole will take his place on the Friday Night weekly show.
