Sting & Darby Allin are next in line for the AEW World Tag Team championships

AEW Revolution 2024 is approaching, as does the end of Sting’s career; The Icon will have his last match on the next AEW pay-per-view, which will take place on Sunday, March 3, 2024 in the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. This Wednesday on Dynamite, Darby Alling challenged Ricky Starks & Big Bill for a Tag Team titles match, as Sting and him are actually undefeated together. Finishing his career as Tag Team champion? The Icon says yes. The challenge has been accepted a few minutes later, and the match has been announced for the February 7 episode of AEW Dynamite, in two weeks.

Adam Copeland wins a war against Minoru Suzuki

The main event of this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw Adam Copeland face Minoru Suzuki in a first time ever match. Crazy to realize that this match actually happened, as it was unthinkable just a few months ago. Adam Copeland won the brutal fight, both wrestlers taking it on the outside during the contest. A Killswitch finished the job for Copeland. At the end of the match, Suzuki refused to shake Copeland’s hand, and the former WWE Superstar called out Christian Cage, saying he’s not done with the TNT champion and his title.

Deonna Purrazzo wants “the real” Toni Storm

Deonna Purrazzo and the AEW Women’s World champion “Timeless” Toni Storm went face-to-face last night on Dynamite. Purrazzo said she didn’t come in AEW to make friends, but to become World champion. But the Virtuosa doesn’t want to face the current version of Toni Storm; she wants the real Toni Storm, the one who fought in Japan, the one who was once the best wrestler of her generation. The segment ended with a fight between Storm and Purrazzo. Will they fight again, but this time for the title, at AEW Revolution 2024 on March 3?

The AEW World champion Samoa Joe was also there to kick-off the night, and HOOK interrupted him to say a few words: “Last week, you won, I lost. I don’t know when, and I don’t know where, but I will see you again”. So, will they cross paths again, after Samoa Joe took HOOK to sleep last week on Dynamite?
