WWEThe Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee welcomes the next episode of Friday Night SmackDown which takes place this Friday, October 4th, only 24 hours before WWE Bad Blood 2024.
AJ Styles retuns
AJ Styles has not been seen on WWE TV since last June at Clash at the Castle. He has wrestled for Pro Wrestling NOAH in July, facing Naomichi Marufuji at NOAH Destination 2024. “The Phenomenal One” will be back on SmackDown this Friday, as we know that his WWE contract is set to expire soon.
3-Way Ladder match
The WWE Tag Team champions, Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa, will put their titles on the line on SmackDown in a 3-Way Ladder match against the former champions #DIY and The Street Profits. Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa will look to regain the championships that they lost to The Bloodline on August 2nd on SmackDown, and Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins will try to win gold back for the first time since January 2021.

Two other matches have been announced for this week’s episode of the blue brand: Michin will battle Chelsea Green in a Dumpster match, and Naomi will go one-on-one against Tiffany Stratton.
The presence of other Superstars are scheduled: the Undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes, the Women’s champion Nia Jax, one half of the Women’s Tag Team champions Bianca Belair, the US champion LA Knight and Kevin Owens.
