Main Event: Ethan Page (c) vs. Joe Hendry – NXT championship match with Trick Williams as special guest referee
The show starts with the NXT Tag Team championship match between the champions Chase U’s Andre Chase & Ridge Holland and the challengers and former champs Axiom & Nathan Frazer who look to regain the titles they lost a few weeks ago on WWE NXT.
- Match #1: TITLE CHANGE! Axiom & Nathan Frazer defeated Andre Chase & Ridge Holland (c) via pinfall from Nathan Frazer on Andre Chase with a Phoenix Splash to win the NXT Tag Team championships.
Ridge Holland betrayed Chase U after the match, attacking all the members of the group and inflicting a brutal DDT on the commentator’s table to Andre Chase who had to leave the arena on a stretcher.
The second match of the night is the one-on-one contest between two former friends and Tag Team champions, Wes Lee and Zachary Wentz.
- Match #2: Zachary Wentz defeated Wes Lee via pinfall with the UFO Cutter. Wes Lee wanted to hit Zachary Wentz with a steel chair during the match, but Trey Miguel appeared to prevent him from doing it.
We are now with Joe Hendry and Trick Williams in the locker rooms. Trick says that he believes in Joe Hendry, but he has to be impartial and fair tonight when he’ll be the special guest referee for the NXT championship match between Joe Hendry and the champion Ethan Page. The Scottish wrestler says that he understands, and he promises (again) that Trick Williams will be the first in line to get a championship opportunity after he wins the title later in the night.
It’s now time for Wendy Choo to challenge Kelani Jordan for the NXT Women’s North American championship.
- Match #3: Kelani Jordan (c) defeated Wendy Choo via pinfall with the Split Legged Moonsault to retain the NXT Women’s North American championship. After the match, Tatum Paxley attacked Wendy Choo with a Sleeper in the center of the ring.
Sarah Schreiber tries to get a word from Ridge Holland backstage after what we witnessed from the former NXT Tag Team champion earlier in the night. She asks him why did he attack and betray Chase U. She will get no answer.

- Match #4: Oba Femi (c) defeated Tony D’Angelo via pinfall with a Sitout Powerbomb to retain the NXT North American championship.
Back on the locker rooms with Trick Williams and Ethan Page. Trick says to the NXT champion the same thing he said to Joe Hendry earlier in the night: he will call it right down the middle in the main event. But Ethan Page believes Trick Williams wants Joe Hendry to win because he is not able to take the NXT title from him directly. Trick Williams tells “All Ego” he is wrong, and he claims he could easily defeat him.
On backstage, The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) challenge Axiom & Nathan Frazer to an NXT Tag Team championship match and they wait for the answer of the new champs.
It’s already time for the co-main event of the evening. Roxanne Perez puts her NXT Women’s championship on the line against OTM’s Jaida Parker.
- Match #5: Roxanne Perez (c) defeated Jaida Parker via pinfall with the Pop Rocks to retain the NXT Women’s championship. Giulia appeared and confronted the NXT Women’s champion in the ring after the match to make her WWE debut.
Sarah Schreiber is now with the NXT general manager Ava, who says that she has not any information about Andre Chase who has been taken to the hospital after Ridge Holland’s attack. She also says that three teams will battle for n°1 contenders spot for the NXT Tag Team gold this Tuesday on NXT: The Rascalz, Hank & Tank and Gallus. Plus, she announces that the winner of tonight’s main event will have to defend the NXT championship on October 1st in Chicago for the premiere of NXT on the CW Network.
And it’s already main event time in Denver. Ethan Page defends the NXT title against Joe Hendry with Trick Williams as special guest referee.
- Match #6: Ethan Page (c) defeated Joe Hendry via pinfall with the Ego’s Edge to retain the NXT championship – Trick Williams as special guest referee.
Trick Williams was attacked by Pete Dunne after the match to end the show, as the two men will battle on WWE NXT this Tuesday.
