Two new matches have been announced for WWE SummerSlam 2024.
WWELast night on Monday Night Raw, two new matches have been announced for WWE SummerSlam 2024, as the show will air live from the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday, August 3rd.
CM Punk is medically cleared
First, CM Punk has declared that he has been medically cleared to compete, as he has not been in action since the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match back in January. So, “The Best In The World” will face Drew McIntyre one-on-one, as “The Scottish Psychopath” has been waiting to get his hands on Punk for the past six months or so. There will be a special guest referee for their encounter: Seth Rollins. With this stipulation, it feels like anything can happen at SummerSlam. So who will walk out of Cleveland with the victory?
Rematch for the Intercontinental championship
Plus, Bron Breakker will get a rematch for the WWE Intercontinental championship against Sami Zayn, as he already had a chance to win the title at Money In The Bank a few weeks ago. Sami Zayn took the victory via pinfall with the Helluvah Kick in Toronto, but can the result be different in less than two weeks in Cleveland?
