AEW Dynamite is about to take place at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York this Wednesday, June 26th, 2024, as all the eyes are now set on AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door that will air this Sunday, June 30th from the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York.
When the rivals become partners
Four days before Forbidden Door, Swerve Strickland will team up with Will Ospreay to face Gates of Agony’s Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun. The AEW World champion will put his title on the line against “The Aerial Assassin” at Forbidden Door, as Will Ospreay will try to become a double champion in AEW.
Another contest has been announced for the next episode of AEW Dynamite, as the team of Saraya, Anna Jay & Harley Cameron are set to face the AEW Women’s World champion Toni Storm, Mariah May & Mina Shirakawa in a Trios match. At Forbidden Door, “Timeless” Toni Storm will defend her championship against Mina Shirakawa.
Owen Hart Foundation Tournament
Plus, there will be an Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament Quarterfinal match between one of the Unified World Trios champions in Jay White and Rey Fenix. For the moment, only PAC has advanced to the Semifinals thanks to his victory over Claudio Castagnoli last week on Dynamite. This Sunday at Forbidden Door, there will be another Quarterfinal, as Bryan Danielson will take on Shingo Takagi.

It’s also been announced that the former AEW World champion MJF will be live on Dynamite this Wednesday, a few days before facing Hechicero on one-on-one action at Forbidden Door.
