Full preview of the June 19th, 2024 episode of AEW Dynamite.
AEWAll Elite Wrestling has its eyes set on AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024 which will take place on Sunday, June 30th at the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York. This Wednesday, June 19th, AEW Dynamite will air live from the EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Virginia. Three matches and two face-to-face have been announced for the show.
Face-to-face ahead of Forbidden Door
The AEW World champion Swerve Strickland will put his title on the line at Forbidden Door against the current AEW International champion in Will Ospreay. It will be the first time the two men will battle one-on-one since 2017 when they crossed paths on the independent scene. This Wednesday on Dynamite, they will go face-to-face, less than two weeks before their title match.
Plus, the AEW Women’s World champion “Timeless” Toni Storm and her n°1 contender Mina Shirakawa will have their contract signing for their title encounter at Forbidden Door.
MJF back in action
MJF has been out of action for over five months because of a shoulder injury. He made his AEW return at Double or Nothing 2024 on May 26th. This Wednesday on Dynamite, he will have his first match since he lost the AEW World championship to Samoa Joe at AEW Worlds End on December 30th, 2023. He will face the former ROH World champion Rush one-on-one.

Two other matches have been announced for the next episode of AEW Dynamite.
The AEW World Tag Team champions, Matthew & Nicholas Jackson, will face The Acclaimed in a World Tag Team championship Eliminator match. So, can Anthony Bowens & Max Caster win a future opportunity at the Tag titles by defeating The Young Bucks?
And, we will see an All Star 8-man Tag Team match, as the team of Roderick Strong, Konosuke Takeshita, Zack Sabre Jr. & the ROH World TV champion Kyle Fletcher will battle the team of Kyle O’Reilly, Orange Cassidy, Dante Martin & the ROH World champion Mark Briscoe.
