Is it time for redemption for Drew McIntyre?
Drew McIntyre had won the World title at WrestleMania XL Sunday by defeating Seth “Freakin” Rollins, but he only kept the belt for a few minutes. Indeed, as CM Punk hit the “Scottish Psychopath”, Damian Priest seized the opportunity to cash-in his Money In The Bank contract on the new champion to take the title from him. Damian Priest then left WrestleMania as World champion and celebrated with his Judgment Day’s partners on the ramp. So, will Clash at the Castle be the time for redemption for Drew McIntyre? The question has got to be asked.
The 2020 Men’s Royal Rumble winner will also have to deal with his memories from Clash at the Castle 2022 in Cardiff, when he failed to defeat Roman Reigns and capture the WWE Universal championship because of Solo Sikoa; a loss that he never really got over almost two years later.
