This Monday, April 22nd, WWE Raw will air from the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio. The new WWE World Tag Team champions will defend their titles for the first time since they won it at WrestleMania XL Saturday, a new Women’s World champion will be crowned and the Ring General Gunther will return to the red brand for the first time since he lost the Intercontinental championship to Sami Zayn.

A new WWE Women’s World champion to be crowned

Last week on Monday Night Raw, Rhea Ripley had to vacate her WWE Women’s World championship because of an injury that she sustained during her backstage altercation with Liv Morgan one week before. She had won the title by defeating Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39, and had been champion for more than a year. After she announced that she would forfeit the title, we learned that a special Battle Royal would take place next Monday in Colombus to determine the brand new WWE Women’s World champion. So, who will be able to step up and seize that huge opportunity? Three women seem to appear as favorites to become the new face of the Women’s division of WWE Raw: Becky Lynch, Liv Morgan and Nia Jax who will bet on her natural power in a contest such as a battle royal.

Awesome Truth defend the Tag Team gold against #DIY

The Miz & R-Truth have won the WWE Raw Tag Team championships at WrestleMania, dethroning Damian Priest & Finn Bálor of The Judgment Day. Last week on Raw, Triple H presented the WWE World Tag Team championships which will be replacing the Raw titles. New era, new champions, new belts. Awesome Truth will have to put the Tag Team gold on the line for the first time since WrestleMania XL Saturday, by facing Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano of #DIY this Monday on Raw. Can the run of Miz & Truth go on or will #DIY win the big one next Monday on WWE Raw?

Gunther returns to WWE Raw

Gunther lost the WWE Intercontinental championship to Sami Zayn a few weeks ago at WrestleMania. As he had already made history by becoming the longest reigning Intercontinental champion in WWE history, he will make his return to the red brand for the first time since he is no longer the title holder this Monday. What will the leader of Imperium have to say to the WWE Universe?

Plus, we know that Ricochet & Andrade will team up to face Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day.
