AEW Dynamite takes place this Wednesday, April 3 at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachussetts. Several matches have been announced, and Samoa Joe and Swerve Strickland are about to sign the contract for their AEW World championship encounter at AEW Dynasty.
A battle of Wills
Indeed, four matches have been set for this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. First, we will witness “a battle of Wills”, as Will Ospreay will take on “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs one-on-one. Will Ospreay looks to continue to prepare for his match against Bryan Danielson at AEW Dynasty, as he defeated Katsuyori Shibata on March 27 on Collision. Will Powerhouse Hobbs be the next to fall to the former IWGP World Heavyweight champion?

Then, Jay White will battle Daddy Ass, Thunder Rosa will face Mariah May with the winner getting a shot at the AEW Women’s World championship against Toni Storm, and The Young Bucks will take on Orange Cassidy & Trent Beretta in an AEW World Tag Team championship tournament Semifinal match.
Plus, Chris Jericho will call out HOOK, as the FTW champion defeated the first ever AEW World champion back in Dynamite on March 20, two weeks ago. The current AEW World champion Samoa Joe will also be there and will sign the contract for his title defense against Swerve Strickland at AEW Dynasty which will take place on April 21st at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri.
