Double trouble for Trick Williams
Trick Williams will have not only one but two matches on Sunday night, as he will get an opportunity at the NXT championship against Ilja Dragunov and he will team up with Carmelo Hayes to face Baron Corbin & Bron Breakker in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Final. The championship bout against Ilja Dragunov should have taken place on January 2 at NXT New Year’s Evil, but it had to be cancelled because of an injury sustained by the champion. At Vengeance Day, Trick Williams will finally get the chance to become the face of NXT. He will also try to make a name for himself in the NXT Tag Team division when he will try to win the 2024 edition of the Dusty Classic with Carmelo Hayes. So, Trick Williams will have everything to gain, but also everything to lose this Sunday at Vengeance Day. Indeed, his place of challenger and his friendship with Carmelo Hayes could be in danger, as we know that Carmelo Hayes still has the NXT title in his mind, after losing it to Ilja Dragunov a few months ago.

Plus, Roxanne Perez will try to capture the NXT Women’s championship again when she faces the champion Lyra Valkyria.
Oba Femi will have his first title defense when he will put the NXT North American championship on the line against the former champion, Dragon Lee. Oba Femi won the title on January 9 by cashing-in his NXT Breakout contract. The time for revenge has come for Dragon Lee.
