WWEThis Friday, April 26th, WWE SmackDown airs live from the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. The next episode of the blue brand will mark the start of the 2024 WWE Draft, which will continue this Monday, April 29th on Monday Night Raw. The Undisputed WWE Universal champion Cody Rhodes will be there, as well as The Best In The World CM Punk.
Contract signing between Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles
Cody Rhodes will have to defend the Undisputed WWE Universal championship for the first time at WWE Backlash next Saturday, May 4th in Lyon, France. He will face a former World champion in The Phenomenal One AJ Styles, who has not held a major title in the company since November 2018. This Friday on SmackDown, both men will sign the contract for their upcoming championship bout.
The 2024 WWE Draft begins
It’s a new era in WWE, and it’s time to shake things up concerning the Raw and SmackDown rosters, as the 2024 Draft will start this Friday on SmackDown. There will be 16 Superstars drafted during the night, with 4 rounds in total. SmackDown will have the first choice, and the champions can’t be drafted except for the WWE Women’s Tag Team champions, The Kabuki Warriors. The Draft will be completed from this Friday to Monday, May 6th.
