Two new championship matches set for AEW Dynasty

Two new championship matches for AEW Dynasty have been set last night on AEW Dynamite.

Last night, during the March 28, 2024 episode AEW Dynamite, two new championship bouts have been made official for AEW Dynasty.

First, Samoa Joe will have to defend the AEW World championship against Swerve Strickland. Swerve didn’t get pinned or submitted at AEW Revolution, as “Hangman” Page was the one to tap out to Samoa Joe’s Coquina Clutch; now, he gets the one-on-one title shot that he has been asking for many weeks.

Plus, Willow Nightingale won the right to face Julia Hart for the TBS championship at AEW Dynasty. Last night on Dynamite, Nightingale defeated Anna Jay, Kris Statlander and Skye Blue by pinning Anna Jay thanks to her Doctor Bomb in a Fatal-4-way match, allowing her to become the n°1 contender for Julia Hart’s TBS title.
