WWEThis Friday, March 15, WWE Friday Night SmackDown will air from the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee. A match has been announced for the show, and Rey Mysterio is set to return on the blue brand.
Rey Mysterio returns to SmackDown
Rey Mysterio has been out of action since November 2023 because of a knee injury, as the luchador had to undergo surgery. Two weeks ago on SmackDown, the former World Heavyweight champion made his return, helping the Latino World Order in their fight against the Legado Del Fantasma. Rey Mysterio has been betrayed and brutally assaulted by Santos Escobar in November; now he has to deal with his former friend. This Friday, he will be back to business and will make his presence felt at the FedExForum in Memphis.
Bayley faces Dakota Kai
When we talk about Bayley and Dakota Kai, we get ourselves into another story of betrayal. Dakota Kai has chosen her side, and it’s not Bayley’s one. She betrayed the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble winner a few weeks ago, as Bayley has her sights set on the WWE Women’s championship and on her match against IYO SKY at WrestleMania XL. Will she get some momentum when she faces her former friend this Friday on SmackDown, or will Dakota Kai put some doubts in Bayley’s mind ahead of her championship bout on the “Grandest Stage Of Them All”?
