Brock Lesnar could stay far from WWE for a while

After the rumors surrounding the potential involvement of Brock Lesnar regarding Janel Grant’s recent accusations towards Vince McMahon and other WWE staff members, it is possible that we won’t see the Beast Incarnate in a WWE ring for a while. Indeed, the Wrestling Observer confirmed that Brock Lesnar was scheduled to enter in the Royal Rumble match this past Saturday, but he was finally replaced by Bron Breakker. The same source now states that WWE has abandoned the Road to WrestleMania plans for Brock Lesnar. He was apparently supposed to face Dominik Mysterio at Elimination Chamber in Australia next Month, and potentially have a big spot, maybe a championship match against Gunther, at WrestleMania 40. The Wrestling Observer also reports that some people close to WWE even think that the former UFC Heavyweight champion won’t ever step foot in a WWE ring again.

WrestleMania card is being changed

WWE has to change some original plans with the injury of CM Punk and now the Brock Lesnar’s case. We won’t have Seth Rollins defending his World Heavyweight championship against CM Punk, just as we won’t have Brock Lesnar challenging Gunther for the Intercontinental title. Could Seth Rollins and Gunther face each other at WrestleMania 40 then?

Kevin Owens performed while being injured at the Royal Rumble

It’s been reported by the Wrestling Observer that Kevin Owens wrestled at the Royal Rumble against Logan Paul despite the fact that he actually suffered a fractured foot. Impressive when you realize that KO made it look like he had no physical issue at all. Apparently, Kevin Owens sustained the injury on January 5, during his match against Santos Escobar on SmackDown. We don’t know if the Canadien wrestler will have to take some time off WWE television or not. One thing is certain: he still has scores to settle with the United States champion Logan Paul.

He went through 20 successful title defenses against 15 different opponents including 6 former World champions.
