Randy Orton reveals what would be his dream match in WWE, Seth Rollins is voted best wrestler of the year in the PWI awards, Cora Jade suffers a serious injury.

Randy Orton reveals he would love to face John Cena at WrestleMania

On a recent episode of WWE The Bump, Randy Orton was asked about his WWE dream match, and answered he would love to face one of his greatest rivals over the years, the 16-time world champion, John Cena. They have crossed paths many times in the ring, but they never faced each other in a singles match at WrestleMania.

Orton said: “A dream match for me would be to somehow find myself in a situation where I’m fighting Cena at WrestleMania for the title. Now I don’t know how you get there, I’m not saying it’s gonna happen, but I have never wrestled John at WrestleMania in a singles match. We had some wars back in the day, and being able to revisit that after all this time, I think it’s not only something that I would want, I think the fans would eat it up too”. Could that be a call for John Cena’s last match in WWE ? At WrestleMania 40 ? We never know, but the perspective of a world title fight between Orton and Cena seems delicate with John Cena approaching the end of his in-ring career.

Rhea Ripley has been voted “woman of the year”.

Cora Jade has suffered a torn ACL and could be out for a year

Sad news for the NXT Superstar Cora Jade, who had just made her in-ring return last month after some time off due to injury. During the January 16 episode of NXT, Vic Joseph stated that she had suffered a torn ACL. She could be out of action for a while, “up to a year”.

Cora Jade seemed ready to conquer the entire NXT Women’s division in 2024. She tweeted “It is only after we’ve lost everything that we are free to do anything” as a reaction when she learned the nature and the scale of the injury she sustained during a house show last week-end.
