WWE has announced three matches to take place during next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
WWE has its eyes set on the Royal Rumble which will take place on January 27 in the Tropicana Field of St. Petersburg, Florida. Next week, the company will present the last episode of Monday Night Raw before the event, and three matches have already been announced for the occasion.
First ever match between Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest
A huge match between the Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre and Mr. Money In The Bank Damian Priest is scheduled for WWE Raw next week, as the two men crossed paths many times these last months. Indeed, McIntyre was part of team Judgment Day in the Men’s Wargames at the Survivor Series 2023 back in November, but Damian Priest never seemed enthusiastic about it and their team lost the match. Then, on WWE Raw – Day 1, Drew McIntyre faced Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight title and Priest tried to cash-in his Money In The Bank contract but received a Claymore Kick for it. Still, the distraction caused Drew McIntyre the match and the championship. This Monday, on the January 15 episode of WWE Raw, it seemed Señor Money In The Bank wanted to cash-in his contract during the championship bout between Seth Rollins and Jinder Mahal, but Drew McIntyre prevented that from happening [again] by attacking Priest. So, who will take the win next Monday, just a few days before the Royal Rumble?
